My poetry
WALA: using poetic devices to help make an idea that the reader can see and feel.

Leaves
Small and shriveled like a dried mushroom
old like the mouldy broom
When I’m picked
I snap
Crackle
POP goes my stalk
I go whistling through the wind
settling on the soft silky grass
Rough
I grew  like that.
